Under the vision of its director Beatrice de Lafontaine, When Objects Work pursues the principle that everyday objects can be both useful and inherently beautiful. With this in mind, they commission designers to explore the concept of decorative art as superlative domestic objects in the fullest and most challenging ways possible, innovating manufacturing solutions where necessary, whilst still staying true to traditional craftsmanship and authentic, quality materials.
