Chi chi yellow gold diamond bracelet 0.50ct
From the Chi Chi collection by Jessica McCormack a yellow gold bracelet, set with a 0.50 carat round brillant cut diamond, in a Georgian cut-down setting and handcrafted in 18k yellow gold and blackened white gold.
The ancient Chinese fortune telling method of ‘Chi Chi’ is the inspiration behind
the designers new collection. Influenced by the traditional numbered bamboo sticks shaken out of their box, the concept has been turned into a luxuriously weighty, solid gold sticks of varying lengths that make up the framework for every piece, each of which has its own number that refers to a specific fortune.
Linked together by delicate blackened-gold connections – a signature look for the
house of Jessica McCormack – these precious sticks have been used to construct
necklaces, bracelets and rings, a distinctly tactile collection that provides an
everyday jewellery uniform.

Jessica McCormack’s design process is centred on storytelling and nostalgia. She has an innate talent for weaving emotion and history into everything she touches, be it the Party Jacket collection or the ever-changing interiors in her London townhouse store.
Her childhood spent among the treasures and curiosities of her father’s auction house in New Zealand ignited her passion for exploring an objects past, and a year in the jewellery department at Sotheby’s cemented her passion for fine jewellery.
This led to her meeting diamantaire and art collector Michael Rosenfeld, which in turn enabled her to create one off a kind diamond jewellery for private clients and ultimately to create the house of Jessica McCormack as it is today.
