Alia Raza

Alia Raza spent the last decade living and working between New York and Los Angeles creating short fillms, video art works, performance and objects that have shown at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Scope Art Fair in New York, the Palazzo Morando in Rome, the Design Museum in London, and the Marfa Film Festival. Her most noted work, The Fragile White Blossoms Emit a Hypnotic Cascade of Tropical Perfume Whose Sweet Heady Odor Leaves Its Victim Intoxicated (2008- 2013), is a series of 15 videos featuring various gures in the worlds of fashion, art and entertainment, and was inspired by the scent of white night blooming owers.
